so if i use, the x14xe immob loom and the mech gearbox the non immob ecu will know whats goin on?
i rekon it shud

the gearbox with the mechanical speedo uses a vss (vehicle speed sender) that is part of the speedo clocks. this generates a pulse from 0-5 volts that gives the ecu the info on how fast the car is running so it can control the icv etc...
in an electronic sender there is no vss in the clocks, the pulse is generated by the hall sender that is in the gearbox.
the pulse generated is the same as the mechanical vss pulse.
as long as you by-pass the vss in the mechanical clocks it will work fine.

a x14xe that had a electrical speedo
into a car that has a mechanical speedo
will it work fine? or will it throw up a eml with vss fault??
i have a non immob ecu that was of a x14xe which had a mech speedo and using the x14xe and loom that had a immob
