right you may of not need this modification if your fuel gauge dont read right then you need to do this but if it doesnt then you are fine ignore this

well the rev counter aint never going to read right as far as i know because the dash is for a four cylinder engine but i have lived without 1 aslong as the petrol gauge is ok im not bothered

rite well im gonna have trouble wiring my dash up aswell im in the saem situation 1.0 corsa n digi dash

Is there a fitting for dummies none of this resistor sttuff or pictures im not too hot with electrics

this is the information that i have been given by a mate i dont know wether its right or not

The blue/black on the Astra plug is for the fuel guage, I'm pretty sure it goes to the blue/black in the Corsa, I can't recall there being two though.

Anyway, your fuel gauge is going to read about a quarter full when it is in fact empty, heres how to sort it.
Find resistor R27 on the rear of the digidash. This needs to be 42 ohms, so replace it with a 100 ohm and a 68 ohm resistor in parallel, preferably rated at 3 watts or higher, this will sort it out.
I've got the above mod on my dash and it reads perfect.

if you know the resistance range of both tanks it may be possible to put a resistor in parallel/series with the tank resistance to get the right/improved readings.

its aparently a resistor on the back of the dash its a i am just getting instructions on what 1 and what to replace it with

i have got the guide on wiring the digi dash into a 1.0 corsa i already know the rev counter aint going to read right

but on migweb they reckon the petrol gauge wont work properly either whats up with this??

it will read a 1/4 of a tank when its actually empty

they say that r27 need modifying on the dash what is this r27????
