Well thanks a lot for all your help. i dont have the required 6 figure salary for this site it would seem. I dont want 22 spline shafts as I WILL kill the outer cvs. I dont want machined hubs and std smallblock bearings as they will snap and kill me, anyone using these must be retarded or suicidal. You cannot fit unmodded big block hubs to std knuckles as there isnt enough metal to mount the new bearings, so we are left with the HH grp A stuff, which is a golf synchro rear wheel bearing mounted in a bored out knuckle with a std hub. OD of bearing is only 68 in comparison to the vaux 72mm, but ID and width are 39 and 37mm respectively, same as the std stuff.

Why would I pay a couple of hundred quid for somethingI can get machined for peanuts?

Need to fit big block hubs into small block knuckles for an xe conversion. I dont want to machine the hub, so I have heard you can use golf synchro bearings?

Where can you buy these, anywhere other than vw main dealers?

How muh are they roughly?

What are the dimensions?

How much did your machine charge you to boreout the knuckles?

cheers.
