from personal experience i would say yes, ive used a ecu on my 1.4 from a different 1.4, also at one point was using a 1.6 tigra ecu on my 1.4 corsa and was fine.

as said if you change ecu for another one with built in imob you will need the chip from the key that matches that ECU, also pretty sure you need the lock barrel pickup aswell (i got both when i swapped mine)

i have a corsa sport 1.4 16v p reg, but my ecu doesnt have a removable eprom chip, but the later or earlier ones do can i just get an ecu from another 1.4 16v sport that has a removable eprom and fit it along with the transponder chips from the ignition and key? will this work? |
