I think it's the dust thing hopper mentioned actually. It only happens when it's wet I think... | |

most common cause is the hand brake cables seized up in the guides either side of the rear axle. | |

could be wheel cylinders leaking brake fluid on to shoes causing them to stick to drum. | |

it can be caused by a lip on the drum or lack of copper slip on backplate. Ive fixed a few corsas/novas with the problem | |

Yea, I release the handbrake, but one or both of the back drums stay locked. | |

Does anyone elses hand brake stick on when they park up and leave the car standing for a while. Mne keeps on sticking on both of my cars and it's getting realy annoying! |
