I used a sleeve in the end but had to cut some of the pipe away. After all that I think it is the wrong backbox anyway as it seemed to be to long once fitted to the car. Ive cut it so I cant take it back now can I :( Now it rattles a bit when I pull away so I need to work out where that is coming from and move it slightly

I never had to bend mine. Wouldnt be a good fit if you did that ?

Would say the sleeve is best bet

would imagine you bend them a bit to make it fit

Are you meant to bend the slits over the centre section?

The slits are there but I cant get them over the centre section as the diameters are exactly the same

it should have some slits cut into it that you slip over the centre section. doesnt look like someone has cut that bit off does it? if so you need a sleeve of some variety

Ive just bought a magnex backbox but im having trouble fitting it. I cant get the back box pipe over or into the centre section as both pipes are the same size. I dont really want to bend it so is there anyway to get it on? Could I use an exhaust sleeve or something?
