If its not firing on all cylinders then the misfire will be very rapid and regular, and sound VERY bad.
Usually if it revs OK and the misfire disappears at high revs then this is related to the spark as at high revs the fuel combusts due to compression alone.
You checked the plugs?

can you see smoke out the back? does the car lurch about etc when light throttle applied?

its just snek into 100k
no lights or temp increase?
def not just cold start - something is wrong
ICV/AFM? is this easy/cheap to repair?
also damn this site is quick! must be loads of peeps on here!!!

also on ure car problem...
is the ECU light on? small orange one on ure dash with a lightning sort of bolt in it?
When was your last service and hoiw many miles has it done?

Hi guys, my first post!
Ive just bought my L reg Corsa Gsi, and i think it may be a bit boogard?
Basically after taking it on the motorway for about half hour i slowed down to 30 through the streets to go home, when the car, can only be described as chugging?
It still drives....just about. hardly any power, and the noise is terrible, it kinda goes (from the exhaust) dumdumdededumdumdumdedumdedum and visually i can see the exhaust pouting with each dum or de????!!
i thought that maybe the fuel pump had gone and that not enough fuel was going through? although i spoke to a friend who says its ssounds like its not firing on all cylinders??
Please help!!!!!
