Could be the bulb gone, did it work before the conversion?

Or there maybe no bulb at all......

The car is all wired up on my c20xe conversion to my corsa, and when i turn the ignition so the headunit comes on, the ecu/engine management light doesnt come on.

Why could this be? Any help appreciated.

Cheers
