seems to run ok tho, maybe idles a little high when starts but settles down to bout 8/900 rpm | |

It seems to me the EGR valve is not working as its mentioned it more than once that there is a problem on this system, also the immobiliser should control the fuel pump operation as part of its anti theft system so i would also say its this thats causing the fuel pump problem and in turn a fuel problem might allert the knock sensor, thats how you have to think about it, like i said a guide not a definate answer:boggle: | |

whats the best thing to do then, should i reset the ecu then try again and see what it brings up? | |

It wont be all them things, it will be a small number of them effecting everything else, when ya idle speed control motor goes it normally throws up at least 3 codes, the fault codes are a GUIDE not an instruction. | |

just did paper clip test and got a list of faults |
