well i'd check the spring is seated properly.. other than that, are the coils touching on the springs? they make that knocking noise...
Unless its some of the bits on the coilover strut that are knocking as it moves, i've never had coilovers tho so i cant go into detail on that :look:

When turning into a sharp right i hear a clonking coming from the passenger side front suspension turret. I have a coilover kit and have just put new front springs on. When i jack the front of the car i hear the clonking noise just before the wheel lifts off the ground. Have ifitted the spring the wrong way round or is the front strut knackerd? THe other side doesn't do it. C.v joints are fresh and fine, powerflex bushes up front and new stearing rack. Ball joints fairly new and everything is tight.

Please help!:(
