found the cluth cable, twisted it, made it slightly tighter, job done! no more gear problems! :thumbs:

if the engine is straining then yes something aint right with the clutch.
Get it sorted ASAP coz when you're trying to force it your not doing the gearbox any good.
Open the bonnet, and on the right hand side of the block is yer gearbox. There will be a lever coming out of the top of it with a cable going to it. Theres a bit on there you can screw up/unscrew to adjust the clutch cable tension. wind up the tension a bit and see if that sorts it. If not then might be time for a new clutch...

but why does it fight the engine alil bit with the clutch all the way down :boggle: its like im tryin to put itin gear without the clutch down...

gearstick being stiff is nothing to do with adjusting the clutch. try change gearbox oil first. been there done that.

my car is runnin ok at the mo...but when i wanna put it in gear...its kinda bein a bitch :|
the problems are...
A) is REALLY hard to put into gear, like i need to ram it, sometimes im fookin scared to push it any harder :(
B) when i get it to the edge of engagin the gear, you can hear the revs drop jus a lil bit, like its fightin the engine, with the clutch fully down??
so i was reconing that i have to adjust the clutch a lil bit??
is it this thing i gotta fiddle with ... (plz work!)
yay or nay??
