Depends what type of filter - if it's something shit like a K&N, then you need to pay out for their expensive kits.

If it's a decent foam filter...

I used a recharge kit, worth the money too!!

You wont get a better clean from washing up liquid, you still be trying to wash the foaming agent out in 3 weeks time :|:lol:

crush up some persil clothes tablets or sinilar and clean th efilter and wrinse it. then leave to dry naturally. (cotton filters)

Whats the best way to clean an air filter? i wanna make sure its nice and clean :thumbs:

I heard that a bowl full of washing up liquid is good.
