It will cost you alot, i have a 1.1 saxo Y reg and its standard at the moment and im only 17 and with Churchill i pay £1440

yep elephant for me too :)

Im on my own insurance, 17 years old with a standard 1.2 8V and that cost me just over a grand TPFT :( but it was alot cheaper then all of the other quotes I got

i am 19 with 2 years NC on a 1.6 sport and this costs me 947 fully com with elephant, there wicked!

There is a list of insurance companines at the top, just above this thread, look in there, i'm with HIC, so are alot of others.

All you can do is shop around, took me an entire day but i saved myself over 500 quid from my renewl quote to what i actually paid!!

mines costing me £700, soon to be full bodykit. alloy wheels and thats at 17 on a 1.0 corsa b, from tesco

your going to get stung for that no matter where you go,

i pay roughly £500 for my insurance, 24years old, all mods declared, 5years ncb - insurnace from direct line


id recommend one of two things...

1) get your parents to insure the car and you on their policy.... that way youll get a better deal on the insurance

2)shop around online - check the back of max power etc for insurance companies and get loads of online quotes from specialist companies... its going to be steap though!

hope you get it sorted - insurance is a biatch but you defo need it!
