Careful using jump leads, alot of the electrical items in mine went bang after jump leads were used! Small chance but it can happen!

start the engine and put a multimeter on the battery it should read more than 12v .

it not the battery has collapsed. a fucked battery can cause the dash and other electrical componants to go crazy

basically I went to start her up, and the battery was dead.
so got some jump leads on the case, and she fired up first time.
then, the next time I go to start it, the same thing, no power, again cured with jump leads...??

There is a whirring sound coming from the altenator, which has only come about in the last few days... but surely if the altenator was ****ed, then it wouldnt charge the battery at all, and it wouldnt drive for any period of time?

Also, at low revs, my digi-dash rev display goes all over the place, flickering up to 7k, although the engine doesnt...?

my first thoughts were there must be an earthing problem, so removed the power leads for my sounds.. but no difference...

there must be a drain on it somewhere though surely??

Help me please...!
