My Corsa SRi 1.4 8v came with electric windows & mirrors, sunroof, central locking. No power steering but it did have 5 of the standard 3 spoke alloy wheels

All 1.4 16v engines that go into any corsa b's are the the same. There is no non ecotec 1.416v. All are x14xe. The difference in engines are only in 1.6's. Gsi's had c16xe (non ecotec) and sports had x16xe which is ecotec and 3 bhp less than the c16xe.

i thought that the 1.4 16v engines in a sri were ecotec as well, cos me mates got one with ecotec written on it and well there the same really

Get a 1.4 Sport, or if you can, get the 1.6 Sport. Engines should last longer then the older SRi.

the difference is 2hp which is marginal, personally id prefer a newer car and a few more extras

the difference is about 4bhp is it not. the engines in the sprts are "ectotecs" dulled down...stick to the SRi electrc windows are a nothing ness really
