how do i flash the code if it just goes on and off randomly :S doesn't it need to be permanantly on for me to do a paperclip test thing... i have a video of it if someone can host it? thanks | |

hmm u sure on this lots of ppl blank it and don't have a fault code :S? if its there and always goes tits up but can be removed then why have it in the first place :S? | |

If it's the EGR, then it doesn't matter if you blank it off or not, you still need to have it plugged in to stop the fault code coming on and to not run in limp mode. | |

nah i haven't yet, i may do it tomorrow, i'm thinking it may be ICV or EGR if its the EGR i'm blanking it off, it's a **** to be honest, it went fookd up before but i cleaned it and i aint paying for one im gonna get that astra blanking plate and fit it - more hassle than its worth.... | |

Have you flashed the fault codes to find out what is causing the EMS light to come on?? | |
