quote: Ian - how about this set up - 40mm drop on coilovers (FK Highsport) and i am thinking of getting 17" but its so hard to find the right set off wheels i been told et45 would be just right. what offset you recommend that wont need much/any body mods? anyone know the offset of these? plus what you think of them :D [Edited on 16-04-2005 by Dragon_R34]

Did have the car lowered 60mm before with the 18's for a while, now it's back on the 40mm springs...

I have exactly the same arches and suspension as I had when I ran 16" wheels as I do now with my 18" wheels... The 18s have 35 profile tyres though :D

I assume you want large wheels in which case you will need to modify the arches to increase clearance inside.

quote: yes, technically you can fit 18's on. you have to be specific to whether you are going to be lowering, or fitting a kit etc.

16's is probably a safer bet though and will look better depending on what sort of look you are after
