It's a problem with the laquer mate, it's been dried out cos it's been under that glue. I had the same problem on mine. Use a bit of white spirit and wipe it GENTLY then use T Cut to finish it off. Then use loadsa rejuvinating polish like Auto Glym or summat. It's up to you how you get it off put thats what i did. But it is definatley a problem with the Laquer.

TRY BACKING IT, IF IT DOESN'T WORK ITLL HAV TO BE SPRAYED. BUY A NEW RUBSTRIPP AND PAINT IT, THEN FIT IT

Sounds a bit mad but try using some 1000 grit paper on it... be very careful not to go outside the lines so if it messes up u can put em back on again...

If its something on top of the paint then it can be removed, if the paint is damaged then the job is not so easy.

ok, point acknowledged but i wud like to have it without them... someone mentioned a caramel wheel to buff it up aswell as take the vauxhall love juice off but another person said something like a g-2 solvent or something :S i dunno if he was on about restoring the paint or removing said love juice....

why can't it just be smooth.... :'( i wanna be euro
