normal corsa long one and 1987 nova short piece

ive seen some poeple complaining that this didnt work..... others seem to have no probs with it...

Righty ho, tried changing the handbrake cable on steves car a few months back and the handbrake cable i got didnt fit.
it was the long one that snapped and i got a new long cable for a corsa, this the right one, or is it the nova one thats needed??
