If you have the owners manual that came with the car take a look at that, it may help.Check that no fuses are broken, especially any ones for the central locking and wiring near to battery for shorts or breaks.Other than that its beyond me & a trip to vaux will sort.

quote: nop i try to switch on the engine and switch it it off but nothing happens. Tried pressing the button near the interior light, still nothing happens. tried locking the doors, wont happen. Only way the alarm goes off is by itself, its a standard vauxhall alarm i would have thought, got no button on keys or anything.

Can you disarm the alarm when it sounds?

Usually on most alarms you have to put them into Valet mode before removing the battery as the alarm thinks a thief has cut the power to the alarm and so it sounds the alarm.Dont know about standard vaux alarms though.:boggle:

I removed the battery as it was dead, jus put in my new battery but now the alarm keeps going off and I cant lock the doors. Everytime i open my doors the alarm would trigger off. |
