bloody hell £4! get me some :) lol

the bulb fittings of H1, H4, H7 are different but also the actuall size of the bulbs is different also with H4 being the biggest, thats why i was wondering if the smaller ones wont be as bright?? :boggle:

im not sure so if im wrong say but think all corsa bulbs are H4, other cars are different i dont think the fotting of the bulb makes a difference. so a 55/60watt bulb is same in H4 fitting as any other fitting bulb

im going for the sportz ring for now, i had them in H4 and they are good :)

had the OLDER legal 55/60watt "Philips normal extra white bulbs" they were brighter/nice white compared to standard bulbs but they Popped after little while!! then i got the 80/100watt sportz ring and they blew it away! lol

ALSO... thinking about the bulb size's... wouldnt the smaller "H1" fitting bulb be LESS bright, or the SAME as the larger "H4" fitting??

I had the ring h4 sportz blue bulbs... they were bright (till they popped) so i tried the phillips vision plus bulbs, easily as bright and they were pure white... no yellow at all (these were 55/60w). now using the philips power2nite bulbs which they say are the next step up, little bit brighter & have a subtle blue effect. The bluevision ones are phillips top ones, i'd say go for them! Ring ones aint as quality trust

they run a little hot but i replaced my frosted headlights with clear one so they have a directional cone on infront of the bulb. I found with standard bulbs my original headlights were brighter than the clear ones as the originals had no directional cone infront of the headlight if you know what i mean

holy sh1t dude! 110-130! wouldnt the increased heat, damage the headlight lense??

i have the ring sportz 80/100watts in a H4 fitting for my Current headlights and they are very good, very bright and very blue!

but wouldnt a headlight with a clear lense make the bulbs look brighter/more intense?
plus... they will be easily visable and police could easily just see it which is why i was thinkin gof the philips ones but i dont want to loose the light effect

If you've got clear glass then you won't need blinding bulbs, so stick to 55/60w

Very fair comment it depends what you want

If you want a blue tint go for anything over 4800K - thats the temperature of the bulb hence the colour.

go for 80W
I'm running 110/130 and the light is amazing. Not legal but not been pulled and I have been behind police etc

neither are legal if there coloured....

phillips are the better bulb in terms of how long it will last, not sure on brightness.

through a clear lense headlight, which bulb is better in terms of Brightness, the actual amount of light it puts on road?
and Blue effect, like the newer mercs and bmw's?

these are the philips, legal, 55/60watts xenon gas/light blue effect

and these are the "Sportz ring" not-legal, 80/100watts, darker blue effect
