Pretty much every Vauxhall ends up with this at some stage.

Have a look at the linkage on the pedal and squirt some oil about until it stops.

If its the pedal then it just needs lube, standard Vauxhall feature that.

I will have access tot he gearbox tommorow as im taking out the shagged engine...how would i go about finding out the problem?

build up of clutch dust?

bit like when you get build up of brake dust and your brakes squeek:wave::thumbs:

unless you have a inspection panel on your gearbox......or a spare few hours to remove and refit gearbox & clutch.....or like paying rip off garage prices.......just gotta live with it

Anyone know how i would go about fixing this? everytime i depress the clutch i get a loud sqeek:o its been like this for ages and i must of just got used to the sound and not taken much notice.Very embarrasing when i have other people in car:o.....help:boggle:
