Depends in some cases yes in others no, im lowered 40mm on apex springs and shocks and have 205/40 R17 tyres. mine only rub on the drivers side rear for some reason at the end of the day when you get the wheels bung em on and see, but as beardo said I would advise getting 16s as youll get a better ride and will not have any probs with the arches, I want 16s now! I would also advise getting a spring and shock kit instead of just springs, but this all depends on your financial situation.

thank you very much for all your thoughts, so if they will fit with standard suspension, what would need to be done if it was lowered 40mm on Gmax springs? would this need arch work etc?
