take the lip off the inside of the drum and replace the springs. Also check the adjuster fork | |

ugh.. rear brakes are messy bastids to work on the pages of my haynes thats the rear brakes atre on are stuck together with grease :lol: | |

um well not really the rear axle was changed and the brake line on that side wasnt done up properly and so leaked... | |

has something been changed in the brakes recently? i remember when i had a few bits sorted and changed at mot time the car handle a bit funny cos i had to wear the new parts in | |

Na, it's normal. Mine does it and I know a few people who have had the same problem. Probably something WD40 will solve as it is probably caused by a part rusting - but it's only the handbrake. If it does it all the time though then you have a problem :P | |

could be the adjuster spring has came off.. common fault either that or it needs replaced... | |

You need to check both really. Could be one isn't doing enough or the other adjusted up too much. | |
