PainZ- No i don't have air conditioning.

welshdude- They were a simple direct replacement with one wire to run down each A-pillar. Piece of piss m8, do it yourself!

the receiver for the controller uses radio frequency so i can obstruct it or block it without it affecting the performance.

Deffo not making a hole in the glove box door! lol.

I've found some black polystyrene type stuff which i'm making a complete install out of which has spaces for the ps2, dvd remote, 2 dvd boxes, sunvisor remote and cd player facia when not in use. I have positioned the Ps2 at the op slightly off centre to the left so when the receiver is plugged in and the glove box door is shut, receiver falls in line with the cup holder and fits perfectly :D

thanks guys.

dave

p.s. i'll post a pic once ive finished!

You'll need holes in the glovebox door anyway, as the wireless controllers probably need a clear line of sight to the receiver. Just make the receiver stick through the glove box door.

run the wire for the controller sensors up the a piller, then stick it to the back of the headrest, you can play anywhere in the car then, even outside!

I have a wireless controller and a dvd remote so ideally i want to be able to close the glove box while the game or film is playing.

The receiver for the controller is just a bit larger than a memory card, so when a game is being played the glove box cannot be shut at present as the receiver sticks out too far.

just rember to leave a gap or something so the remote and controller sensors can still stick out as they'll more than likely need an unobstructed line of communication in order to work so closing the door would block the signal otherwise

What were the sunvisor screens like to install?

I've just bought 2 7" versions and a slim ps2 like you and I'm wondering whether to take on the job myself or take it to an ice specialist

I have just installed sunvisor screens in my car along with the new slimline ps2. At the moment the ps2 and the inverter etc is all in the glove box, however it's not as amazing as i'd like it to be.

My idea is to make a fibre glass install and make it all smooth and flush at the front of the glove box.

However many of you may know that the Corsa C glove box is a rather odd shape at the back so it makes it a bit more tricky and things get rather tight.

I have a wireless controller and a dvd remote so ideally i want to be able to close the glove box while the game or film is playing.

The receiver for the controller is just a bit larger than a memory card, so when a game is being played the glove box cannot be shut at present as the receiver sticks out too far.

Please post some ideas or thoughts on how i could make this look really impressive and also make it all fit in snug and be able to shut the glove box door. Also i'd like slots for two dvd boxes to stored as well.

Also advice on using fibre glass would be much appreciated as i have never used it for this type of project before. Should i use wood for the majority of the install and fibre glass over the front? Or fibre glass the whole thing?

If any1 has done something similar to this i'd like to see some pics for inspiration :D

Cheers

dave

p.s. sorry for the essay
