Yeah the only 'pro' to 60mm is LOOKS. 40mm handles better, grips better, comfier, dampers/bumpstops/balljoints/bearings & tyres last longer, doesnt catch humps etc...

As others will vouch ive had MANY suspension kits on my corsa over the years and used to be down 70mm on 17's im now upto 40mm on coilovers - if you cant decide then go coilovers and then at least you can play with it to get a compromise between looks and drivability...

i would say stay at 40mm cos the driveshafts/ cv joints sit at a different angle when u go -60mm and they will wear out quicker and -40 WILL handle a lot better (if its looks ur after go -60) the ideal height for a corsa is -40 front and -30 rear. all the best manufacturers i.e bilstein, eibach, koni etc drop up to 40m

p.s :DONT BUY G_MAX COS THEY ARE SH"TE!!!!!! fit a bilstein sprintline kit cos they ARE the best shocks money can buy. u wont regret it.

I'd stick to 40mm.

I've got 60 at the front on mine, only because I fitted the wrong kit

btw ive had many different springs on my car, it handled best -40 at the front and -20 at the back.

if your not changing teh shocks then do not get 60mm springs, it will handle like a sack of shit ( worse than standard) and you will only need to change the shocks after about a month anyway after they start leaking!!!

how bad will 60 be with speed bumps ?

Will 60 screw up anything on the car ?

60 will hold the twisties betta as well, mines down 60 on 15" wheels, i can easyily beat vtr's, zetez-s's and alot more 1.6's in a race purly to mine being able to go round corners twice as fast as them, fair enuff in a straigh line they'd be quicker, but how many straight roads r there in britan?

60 will look nicer but not as practical as 40 (speedbumps etc)

Still not sure if I should lower my corsa 40mm or 60mm .

This will be on G-Max springs , on 16s .

What are the benefits and drawbacks of each ?

Cheers
