I am friends with dave who is partner in v tuning,

One of the nicest and most honest reliable guys i know. he wont set you up for anything the car doesnt need and will give you a warranty on the engine. he has done endless rebuilds and phase kits with friends in the vxlscc and every1 of them has never had troubles. Very reputable guy and il guarantee will be one of the best people you will ever deal with.

- New gaskets and seals throughout
- New timing gear/belt and water pump
- New shells and bolts (ARP's can be fitted if required)
- All labour to carry out the above work and remove and install from car

what you think???
sounds a bit pricey to me!! but they meant to be very good reliable company???

There is a good £600+ of parts in there. So £400 to remove, rebuild, and refit an engine isn't that bad, not when you consider what people pay just for the remove and refit when putting an C20 in.

i need my c16xe rebuilt as its got loads of oil leaking/buring/consumption problems! :o

are v-tuning any good? how much would they charge Roughly for a full rebuild including the following...

new rocker, head and sump gaskets all around, piston rings, valve stem seals, valve springs, and any other uprating while head is of e.g arp and con rod bolts, and also "posibly" the following if needed- new pistons, rebore of head, water pump, oil pump

is their anything i may have missed??
just want a rough estimate, been on their website and they sound pretty good??
