ok thanks you lot, ill flush the system through at weekend see if that sorts it. its just that it seems to get above 90 and after only a short journey | |

mine sits just above 90 and in traffic it would get to just under 100 before the fan would kick in... | |

a cool running thermo wouldnt solve the problem just avoid it, id be happier finsing out what the proob was to start with. try flushing the lot out see what happens then | |

not yet mate going to sort it sunday, might order a cool stat then, flush rad and fill up with coolant/antifreeze. | |

Cool running thermostat would be useful. Have you checked for airlocks in the system? | |

dropped the 1.6 sport engine (velos, chipped etc) into my old 1.4 sport and it seems to get very hot in engine bay, the coolant temp seems to always be jus below 100!!! anyone else had this problem? |
