i wouldnt... there would enough play in the rubbers to move the gearbox slightly it needed | |

Yeah this can be done the engine was removed from my car with gearbox still attached, just a bitch getting the input shaft back in | |

U can withdraw the input shaft though, making life easier | |

i always thought it would be easyer to drop the whole lot BUT if you just take the engine out the top and leave everything else then u dont even have to take the wheels off the car........ | |

will it slide out as a whole or will the head need to be taken off? i know it might be easier to take it all out but is it possible to just get the engine out? | |

easier & less hassle to just drop the engine out the bottom with the box & then remove the box from the block once out! | |

is it possible to remove it without the box, surely it is its a 1.4 8v btw:thumbs: |
