Your front engine mount should be fine i think they are th same. | |

well my car has electronic powersteering, so it may already have the engine mount I need, however as its a newer technology lump(one of the x12xe) and as the wiring loom was different it mite gimme a headache lol so wot Im looking for is an SRi lump in a breakers to whip the alternator and bracket off and the v belt tensioner ur saying? | |

Im going to a breakers tomoro, hopefully I can get all the rite bits lol unless any of u guys have some out there, thing is the engines in the breakers are in the cars :( so may prove tricky to remove. Soooooo what I need is a mount for the alternator to move it forward,and a tensioner and belt? have u got a quick pic of what you have done ainsley as I cant vision it in my head lol | |

just get a front mount, tensioner and belt from a x14xe without PAS, what ive just done dead easy | |

when I fitted the lump last time I fitted a reservoir for fluid and left the pump as a tensioner.I fort about using just a v small belt but it wud have turned the one wheel round the wrong way I think? | |

u need alternator mount from a 1.4 16v without pas and front mount from save 1.4 | |

yes that is correct, the cam belt only runs the water pump, and oil pump, the auxillery drives, alternator and PAS | |

the auxillery drive belt has its own tensioner, the PAS just unbolts you will need a non powersteering engine mount which you probably already have. | |

my c16xe lump has a power steering pump on it and i believe it acts as a tensioner, does anyone know how I can get rid of the PAS pump and power steering on the car? |
