No cos it'll take longer for the oil to get through the lifter stick to 10w40

just drive the car around for a bit to raise the oil pressure then it should be fine. Mine was well tappy when it sat for a week untouched jst needs to get the oil through the lifters as its usually too thick when cold :)

and put sum good thick oil in it quieten it down abit

probably just tappets. takes about 30 mins for them to stop if the engines been sat for a while.

just put an xe in my corsa it has been sat for 3 months in my garage. the problem is there is a very loud tapping noise when it running. it never used to do this in the astra it came out of. any ideas of what might be wrong?
