You only get a speed output if you have electronic an speedo... Mine don't give speed output either and mine was cable...

ah yes i know, i could probly do it blindfolded! as ive taken it of so many times before! for respraying, dials and changing bulbs to blue leds etc... just really cant be arsed to do anymore i guess lol :)

were would the speedo wire go to on the MFD???
my mfd does not display speed! only time, date and temp??

even if u dont have a leccy speedo u'll still have the blue/red speed wire... it goes to the mfd to read speed in kph:thumbs:

oh i see... tell the truth i only really wanted just the "One touch" and "Total closure" feature :)

its good enough to even have an elelctric sunroof in a corsa let alone with all these features as corsa's never came with elecy sunroofs from factory!

so i guess i can live with out the diagnostic and 60mph speedo shut!
would be a hassle to fit new speedo just for sake of it shutting above 60mph by itself! and i hardly ever go above 60mph! as most is just town to town driving, even if i do its only for a little while so i would probly find it annoying to keep opening it again after shuting automatically

Just means you can re-program it using the Tech 2 - you don't need to do it though, just means you done a 'proper job' if you have ;)

What you can do, get yourself an electronic speedo from a more recent Corsa, along with a gearbox transducer and install all of that - then you can wire up the Omega sunroof properly ;)

NOOOO i dont have a Electronic speedo in my corsa B Gsi, its cable drivin!!!
does this mean i cant wire the speedo wire???

a lad of Migweb said he wired an omega sunroof to his astra and that he didnt need to wire up the diagnostic wire??
whats it for anyway, what does it do??

To do the job properly you should wire it to the diagnostic plug... Thats easy enough - think you attatch it to pin G - don't quote me on this though. The wire for the speedo is a blue/red, that will be found behind the dash, as long as you have an electronic speedo :)

im pretty sure all the vauxhall sunroof motors are the same fit except for the calibra as it opens in one direction!

theirs 6 wires, one is a diagnostic and doesnt need wiring up, one constant earth, one switched earth, one constant live, and one total closure...

the speedo, a red/blue wire which shuts the roof by itself if you go over 60mph i have heard wires to the "wiring loom at the back of the radio plug"????

any ideas?

Might be worth trying, but wouldn't know how you'd wire in the logic for the >60mph closure.

Attatch the right wire to the speed output on the ECU?

yup, all the sunroofs are the same size in all cars, helps with costs to manufacturers

ive heard the omega sunroof is a One touch, so you just turn the knob and it opens all by itself without you having to keep you finger on it :)

also it closes if you go over 60mph and it is a "total closure" so can close automaticlly when you arm the alarm :)

ive got a cavilier or senator sunroof motor and panel in my coarsa B at the moment, so i presume the Omega one is the same size and so should also fit???
