I'm saying there is no reason to think the sensors are fucked. Although they could be, lol.

THis aint good, cos summit definately aint right with the running of the engine under load, i just carnt see why it wont accelerate at the top end of 4th and 5th, its very weird, could it be running too lean or rich at these rpm's and this could be causing it, i KNOW its running very rich at low RPM but not sure about the rest of the range

So you're sayin our sensors are ok miles? Otherwise the light would be on all the time?

If the light comes on then the ecu is reconising that its been disconnected. Thats its different from when it is plugged in, this suggests that if the sensor is faulty it would throw the light up.

Just been out in mine, nothing at all, then I disconnected the sensor, performance remained the same but light came on... what does this mean? Is the sensor likely to be fucked?

The engine runs on open loop whilst the car is cold so it wont make any odds.
