ye this is what i'm saying the sub atm is dual 4ohm which means it will run either 8 or 2 ohm.

If the subs show as 2ohm each when running the voice coils in parallel, shouldn't you be able to run the 2 subs in parallel with eachother to get a 1ohm load on the amp?

it says the sub is 2ohm, 4 ohm and 8ohm operational and it is dual voice coils, so i can run it at 2ohm dual.

I did tell you and i got ally to tell you that to get a 1 ohm load you need a dual 2 ohm voice coil sub, or two of the dual 4 ohm subs

quote:If you mean subs have a dual 4 ohm voice coil, then no, they won't run at 1 ohm. If you want to run at 1 ohm, get dual 2 ohm and wire in parallel. Did you read this thread? http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=163377

should always have the power rating of ur amp higher than the combined power rating of your speakers anyway mate. ensures you get a nice clean signal with no distortion and also allows you to push it that little bit more to compensate for signal drop in the cables :)
