cpuldnt i just rub it down slightly and then add some p38 fiberglass ontop then smooth over with p40??

If its pretty think i'd try rubbing it flat but the general oppinion is that filler on bonnets is a bad idea especially when bridging gaps etc and should only be used as last resort. However lightly skimming with filler should not cause too much of a problem and make sure there are NO air bubbles in the filler otherwise the trapped air will expand with the heat from the engine and crack the filler.

Cant you return the vent from where you got it? If not why not try rubbing it down then smoothing it over with fiberglass paste? Or even take it down to your friendly local bodyshop???

right ive got a bonnet skin with an F50 vent onit installed on my bonnet.

theres a prob with it tho


on the center part of the F50 it is rippled :(

What can i do about it?? if it ok jsut too even it up with fiberglass or not ive had a number of ppl say that it could crack with the heat form underneither, but they wernt to sure. can any1 clear this up for me??
