Think ya have used the wrong short nova cable mate, ya need the 1987 model short cable, there is a difference of about 3" or so in the 2 cables... hope this helps...

does the cable not pull through the clamp at the brake end? or does it go straight to the threaded bit?

i have just fitted rear disks to my corsa they work fine but i am having abit of trouble with the handbrake i have used a nova short hanbrake cable and corsa long one. The hanbrake works but you have to pull it up 10 clicks for it to work and i cant adjust it anymore because it has already been adjusted as far as it can. So what i would like to know is that do you others with rear discs have this problem or have i used the wrong handbrake cables. |
