if you are failing the emmissions check your CAT is up to temp before testing. I had a similar problem recently.

your most likely failing do to servicing requirements.

what do you mean servicing requirments?
i maintain the car quite regulary and keep everything topped up and in working order :) which is why i was surprised when it failed the MOT!

however it has got a bad oil consumption/burning problem?

Yep remote central locking. Will check in the morning mate. Thanks for the peace of mind

has your car got central locking? if it has open the flap then lock the doors if yours has locking flap you should see a little plastic stick pushed out

hmm...

the actual cap which gives access to the tank (the black one) is sort of like a 'child safety lock' where it needs to be pushed down before being unscrewed. No other 'lock' besides this. I'm possibly fucked then.

1) hand brake needs adjusting
2) front of chasis needs bit of weilding
3) new ball joints needed
4) viper induction kit is sucking in too much air and causing it to fail emmisions test

1) garage £20
2) from £40 to £100 odd depends how bad
3)£30 for a pair and £25 for fitting
4) put std airbox on

depends if youve got a locking flap, my corsa sport 1.6 16v used to have a lock on the flap so when you locked the drivers door it did that the passengers and the flap but my newer corsa hasnt so it has to have a locking cap

When you say locking, do you mean you need one that requires a key?

My car's petrol cap opens just by pulling it open, and I can access the tank itself just by unscrewing the cap inside. This'll fail an MOT??

oh and a new centre section on;y costed £35 for exhaust. £75 in all not to bad.
