Maybe there was a power surge from your charger that fried the ECU.

great juuuuuuuuuuust great, the ECU lit up yesterday, then I decided that the battery probebly needed charging so i put it on charge then today I decided to put it on, which went fine, then I come round to the inside of the car only to see the ECU light go from being on to being off.

Fantastic I thought the error has cleared from the ECU and it now works.....no joy.

Called an Auto Electrician that came out to sort out my short on fuse1 that was giving me grief and he couldnt get the ecu to deliever a fault or even register on his pro machine....he checked all the plugs and they were all showing the right levels.

So can any1 confirm that the ECU has gone belly up up do you think its something to do with the wiring???

the electrician guy was pretty sure it was the ECU at fault, but why did it go from working after putting the battery on to just letting go???

All the fuses are fine btw the guy checked them all over :o

anyideas?
