I know to use fibreglass, but wud u just use putty? or a layer of matting at the end?

What do i have to do to the paint so the fibreglass will stick properly etc..

Right, some gits had a go at me spoiler with a key and scratched some paint of it, so it needs respraying.
Whilst its there im thinking ill get the saxo smoothed into the gsi. I want to do this myself, can anyone give me any tips about materials and methods to do a good job that will last and not crack!

As it is :-

How i want it :-
