wel i have got steering wheels off my nova and my corsa and the technique i found best was, u pull with both hands from the bottom of the wheel keeping a constant force on it, then get a mate standing outside the drivers side of the car to pull the wheel sharply from the top, this seems to work, im not saying its easy however, it wil take a couple of goes at it. and yeah leave the nut screwed on slighty so you dont knock yourself out when it comes off!!

dont hit it with a hammer, the steering column will collapse, you need a steering wheel puller, its a 30 second job that requires no effort.

So take the nut off then loosen the 'thing' behind the bolt. The thing behind the bolt has got like little teeth on it. Is this what i need to loosen?

Leave the nut on a little, so when it comes off you don't kill yourself.

Trying to take my steering wheel and it is being a right sh1t!. Tried hitting it, pulling it and it still doesnt want to come off. Any ideas? I was thinking that maybe i would need to put one of those puller things into the centre of the wheel to get it off.
