ps some people say their holes line up, some dont, some need 2 extend plates and some dont

none of my holes lined up so i redrilled all 4

here goes...

grind stubs off astra and keep the mounting plate

grind plates off corsa

line up astra plates on corsa axel

weld them on

redill holes

bolt astra disks onto corsa beam with nova alen key headed bolts

refit onto car

rebend brake pipes or get new ones made

use corsa main cable, early nova short

blead brakes etc and check all lines up ok

m2rv_h, beardy, daimob have all done it.

as far as i know you bolt the astra stub axles onto the corsa beam, also some welding is required for strength, then you need a nova short handbrakes cable.
im not sure wat happens about the brake pipes though, never heard it mentioned before so i assume that they are a direct fit.

You need a conversion kit, about £100

PVD sell them, but dont expect rapid delivery.

are you putting the GTE engine in?? If not there really isnt any point at all in uprating the rears to discs

can anyone tell me what i need to do to my 1.2 8v merit to convert the rear drums to discs i have a astra gte donor car.
Is there anything special i need to do for a bias valve and what do i use for the handbrake.
I know this has been said often but i have used the search and cant find the information i need.
cheers andy
