unless the rev counter is out of a 1l 3cylinder model it won't be accurate, it may work, mine does but the revs read wrong! The 1.2 16v is a 4cylinder so the rev counter would be more accurate. best bet is to source one from a 1l or get a rev counter from a 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 sport and get a 1.4, 1.6, 2.0 engine conversion.

i can tell you the 1.0 12v and 1.2 16v share a similar ecu.... so if its electric speedo it will possibly work but i don;t know for sure

You need the dials out of a 1.0l I've got a 1.0l and I'm using the dials out of a 1.4 sport, the everything works and is as acurate as it was before bar the rev counter, its not accurate at all, but I'm considering an engine conversion soon as I can afford to insure a bigger engine so then it will be right

quote: doubt it because 1.2 8v uses cable from box to head to calculate rpm whereas 1.0 12v uses transducer. mite interface the 2 tho??

Will a set of dials from a 1.2 8V work in my 1.0 12V? Will the speedo be accurate etc? |
