Mine doesn't dead-lock sometimes too. Sometimes when I press the keyfob the hazard lights flash but the doors don't open. I find that if open the car using anything either than the drivers door it will not dead-lock. I have to open the drivers door then it deadlocks.

Mine won't deadlock if i only open the passenger door then lock again. So i have to open the drivers door aswell, then lock again.

Ive had this problem, it seemed to be when i switched the ignition on to play wiv my stero, but not start the car. Then when i went to lock the car it would not deadlock, so i started the engine then it deadlocked fine.

Dont you have to re-syncronise the key fob, read your manual - tells you how to do it there.
