all 1.0 12v has torx bit sumpo plugs like some of other vauxhalls

and the winner of the sump plug knowledge test is .........skinner it was a T40 torx or star bit.:thumbs:

yeah 14XE 16XE and 20X all use 17mm dunno about the lesser models but just go to your local vaux and get a new one. your suposed to change them and washer after every oil change

seems every1 has a deferent one dont it! mines a 17mm nut. as are the other few corsas iv serviced

It's not a bolt or allen key. It is a star key from your car accesory shop i did my M8s 1.2 16V and it was ethier a 10 or 12mm cap :)
