I looked on the Pioneer Uk website and for the subs that CAD said a 42.5 litre enclosure is needed, the Pioneer Uk site said different every time. who knows?!

You will need to consult the manufacturers recommendations for the enclosure. It should tell you the correct volume of enclosure that should be used with your sub.

I looked on CAD and nearly all of their Pioneer subs need a 42.5 litre enclosure. volume is length x breadth x height bla bla bla.

42.5 litres = approx 2600 cubic inches.

13.8^3 = approx 2600 cubic inches.

so a box 13.8 x 13.8 x 13.8 inches would be ok I think. You can muck about with the dimensions so as to get a taller/thinner/shorter box but with an overall volume of 2600 cubic inches.

I hope thats right.

Try this link:

This is only what I think so dont go and build a box STRICTLY on what I said.
