Its not one of those and wasn't overly expensive so i tried it, sub still just crackles, any ideas? | |

yer unless uve got 1 off those Pioneer headunits ya can run a sub off the rear channels | |

well it just puts the power from your headunit into the sub, but if the impedence isnt correct ect bye bye goes the amp on your headunit. | |

if u have 6x9's wired up, take the wires from them and put them to the sub, if it works fine, then ya know its the amp! | |

The amp could be damaged mate. Try the sub on a different amp if you can | |

My sub has stopped working i just get a crackle now. I replaced the fuses that had blown and have checked all the connections. My amp now does not light up as it used to. It crackles with the input level low and high. |
