you should be able to use either type of flywheel, as long as you use the right clutch. The flat type is lighter. | |

lol, oh yeah, the 1.2 wont have the torque to pull it thru the gears! for some reason i had it in my head that they were trying to say a 1.2 would somehow manage to hit the limiter in all gears where as the gsi wouldnt, ill go get my coat lol! dumb smuck! | |

if its the cr box how come itll top out at 60mph, why dont the gsi top out at 60mph then? | |

fair enough, better tell him he carnt have it, aint one to sell some one a bit of kit that dont work and makes ya car top out at 60mph lol | |

yeah but surely the input shaft will just fit the same as any other gearbox, i carnt see ya needing the fly as well, i mean i got them so its not a great issue | |

plus the clutch for the f15 is a hell of a lot bigger. to be able to fit the f15 to a 1.2 8v then everything is needed, and even then it will be crap on a 1.2 8v, it will top out at about 60 mph. | |

no, it will need the f15 flywheel and clutch. the f10 stuff wont fit it. look in the haynes manual | |

but if he is using his standard flywheel and clutch and just bolting on the gearbox is will be fine wont it!!! | |

f15 uses a pot type flywheel. 1.2 uses a standard type flywheel | |

i got a GSI the gearbox aint for my car, a buyer wants to know this, i will tell him then that it fits fine | |

F15 and F10, are both from the same family for the "small" block series, so it will fit. | |

i dont know but i was looking a a picture of an f20 box the other day and it didnt look any different to the f10 i fitted to my 1.2 8v | |

it didnt come standard on any 1.2 corsa though so not too sure if the gearing will be correct will it? | |

i got drive shafts, clutch fly wheel (lightened and balanced), no release bearing but he should replace this any way i would have thought so i can tell him it will fit 100% | |

should fit straight on and his flywheel clutch should be the same aswell "i think" | |

I got an F15 Gearbox for sale, it will be a straight swap onto a 1.2 4 speed corsa wont it, what do i need to give the buyer, just the gearbox, or does he need the flywheel clutch etc |
