correct me if im wrong...

the bodywork is linked up to the negative on the battery so instead of running another wire all the way back to the battery you can just bolt onto metal bodywork.. Or just tap in to any brown wire nearby ;) which will be an earth

really??? cos like..... the input is one cable the earth is just to be wired to chassie not back into the loom.... hows tht gonna effect wether they wud turn on?

yeah mate you've got to wire the earth up else the circuit is open and not complete!!! :look:

You GOTTA wire up an earth lead to any wireing loom else nothing electrical on earth would work.:lol:

from halfords.... anyone ever used these???? wiring mine up and the wiring is fine (ameter reads) ubut the lamps dont turn on???? is it essential to wire up the earth wire to make them work???

whats goin on?
