^ So if I upgraded those wires with the same quality stuff as I'm using to wire up my amps, would that do, or do I need to buy a different sorta wire?

Yea I looked at the yellow tops, I don't think I need anything that good for my system.
On the alternator thing, is an alternator an alternator, or are there vehical specific alternators? I prob need to get a better alt cos my lights dim under heavy bass. But could I just go to the car part shop and buy a more powerfull alt, or would I have to try and find a higher power alt specifically for a corsa?

Optima yellow top is rated at over 1000 amps but very expensive.

You can just get an Exide TD battery which is 55ah and 600 cold cranking amps, brilliant batteries and only cost about £40.

Ok, I need a new battery cos my ones shagged... I was looking in Halfords today and I think i'm gonna get one thats more powerful for my ICE. I figured it out that my ICE at maximum power would pull around 900 to 1000 watts. Then the cars gonna need some power to. So what amp battery should I get, I think, although my physics is crap, that I'd need around 400amps from the batt. Is that right, or have I lost it? Anyway after getting a bigger batt would I need a better alternator to complement it?
