Never tried it on a roof, but I can imagine it'd work well for sealing the windscreen.

Just use it straight from the roll and it doubles as upper, lower and side sun strips.

Doesn't do a particularly shit hot job of keeping rain out either.

AquaSeal Hiband Flashing Tape.

It's complete crap when compared to Dynamat, Brown Bread, etc.

The only reason people suggest it is because it's the same colour, is bitumen based and is sticky as fuck. That's where the similarities end though.

I spent a whole day heating up my boot and floor pan with a hair dryer so I could remove my previous cheap attempt at sound deadening and have since replaced it all with Dynamat Extreme.

I've not covered as much of the car with Dynamat as I'd like - only the doors, boot and under the rear seats.
Once the weather's better I'll do the front seats and rear quarters.

Doors don't rattle and the exhaust isn't as deafening from the inside of the car.

Aaarrrggghh, flash band! God damn sticky horrible shite!!!

Never thought about using it as sound deadening though, should work, its pretty similar stuff when you think about it.

Try a proper builders merchants, Builder Centre, Travis Perkins, Jewson etc, you'll probably find them a fair bit cheaper than DIY places.

Does this add any extra weight to the car?
I.e If i were to do all doors/boot/wheelwell would this be alot of extra weight?

Plus are dynamat or similar brands worth the money or am i better off using a different technique?

When i get my next set of 17"s i DEFO want to dampen sound as tyre noise was orrid on the m way on my last set!

Cheers
